The University of Santo Tomas Library Science Alumni Association (USTLSAA) in cooperation with the De La Salle University Library is pleased to invite you to a 2-day seminar on “Acquisition and Organization of Electronic Resources in Library Services” which will be held on April 16 & 17, 2008 at the CSB Hotel, 2nd Floor, Angelo King Building, Arellano Ave. corner Estrada St., Malate, Manila.

The objectives of the seminar are as follows: (1) to acquaint information professionals with alternative ways of acquiring library materials; (2) to aid librarians in collecting and developing
electronic resources; (3) to acquire new knowledge in cataloging and indexing library materials using standards; (4) to share experiences, challenges, and solutions to problems/concerns on collection development and library services in the electronic environment; (5) to train participants on how to assess and promote electronic journals in academic libraries; and (6) to present methods of organizing library materials using different standards.

Registration fee is P1, 500.00 inclusive of meals/snacks, kits, and certificates.

Payment may be made in cash, check or Postal Money Order payable to USTLSAA or you may deposit payment to Security Bank, UST Branch, Espana, Manila with Savings Account No. 0171-195094-201.
