As part of our continual post-sales support to our customers, we are seeking dynamic and dedicated team players to join the company on a freelance basis as Training Consultant.

Freelance Training Consultant (3 positions)

We are looking for trainers residing in the Southeast Asian countries to train librarians and end-users on Elsevier’s electronic products such as ScienceDirect and Scopus in Southeast Asia.

You are likely to meet the following requirements:

1 A library professional with working experience in Library User-education and/or Information Literacy activities, or a postgraduate currently pursuing library-related courses
2 Adept at using and instructing electronic databases
3 Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint
4 Command excellent presentation skills in English Language.
5 Fluency in additional language, such as Thai or Bahasa Malaysia, will be extremely advantageous.
6 Willing to travel for up to 2 days to various states within your country of origin, and possibly countries in Southeast Asia such as Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
7 Knowledge of academic and research related activities will be advantageous.
