The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao, University Libraries will be conducting a one-day seminar on December 6, 2007 with the theme “Library Service Strategies and Linkage: Towards a Better Access to Information Within and Beyond” at the Bulwagang Teodulfo Domingo, University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao. This seminar aims to:

1. Give the participants an overview of some strategies on how to make the library visible in the community.
2. Stress the importance of linking itself with the outside world in view of the new technological advancement in the field of librarianship.
3. Make itself an avenue to do a pre-planning for the organization of Librarians’ Association in Cagayan which will be done towards the closing of the session.

We will be inviting Prof. Thelma S. Kim, the Phil. Librarians Association Inc. Vice President, President of Baguio-Benguet Librarians Association Inc. and current professor of Library and Information Science of Saint Louis University Baguio City.

In this regard, we would like to invite you to attend the said seminar because we believe that this will be a good avenue for us librarians, teacher-librarians and library staff to build strong cooperation among us. The seminar fee is P600.00 for regular participants, inclusive of registration, meal and 2 snacks, certificate of participation and seminar kit.
