Job requirements: For immediate hire.

Mature and responsible Library Science graduate, with college level knowledge and active interest in Philippine history and culture.

At least two years work experience in a library; experience working with special collections, periodicals and documents, including photographs. Willing to learn basic knowledge of book conservation and special handling.

Ability to catalog and shelve books using Library of Congress Subject classifications, help maintain a card catalog and assist with annual inventory.

Fluent in spoken and written English, some Spanish skills would be welcome.

Computer skills; proficient with Word and Excel, and basic Internet search engines.

Ability to work with small library staff; follow library policy and procedures, and assist visitors to reading room, small exhibitions and special events.
