The Quezon Librarians Association (QLA) is inviting all librarians, library assistants, support staff, teacher-librarians and other information professionals to a 2-day live-out seminar-workshop on May 2 & 3, 2007 at University Libraries, Manuel S. Enverga University, Lucena City.

The seminar-workshop theme is “LEARNING AND PROMOTING SERVICES IN LIBRARIES”. It aims to have a much clearer understanding on Abstracting & Indexing, other library services and update participants with the latest strategies in promoting the library. Topics include: Enhancing Abstracting & Indexing Skills, Promoting Public Services, Developing Special Services and application of Electronic Services. Click here to download invitation.

The seminar fee is PHP 1,000 which includes seminar kit, lunch and snacks. An additional PHP 100.00 will serve as registration fee for new members.
