The PLAI-NCR Council would like to invite you to its forum on “DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A WEB-BASED ONLINE DATABASE OF THE U.P. INDEX TO PHILIPPINE NEWSPAPERS (PIN)” to be held on Monday, April 23, 2007, 8:00 – 12:00 noon, at The National Library. Our resource speaker is Mr. Chito Angeles, Head, Computer Services, U.P. Library.

The objective of this forum is to enable the participants to know and learn how to use a custom-developed newspaper management and article indexing system based on free open-source software.

Registration fee is FREE and the participants will receive handouts and certificate. Please reserve on or before April 19, 2007 through the following.
