The Cravings Group of Companies led by the president, Susana P. Guerrero conducted a summer cooking course for children 11 years ago in one of her restaurant. Because of its success, she envisioned opening a culinary school in the country. She then invited Dr. John Knapp of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and Dr. Corazon Gatchalian to create the school’s curriculum and gather a strong pool of chef instructors. The Center for Culinary Arts Manila opened its doors almost seven years ago in November 27,1996 with 55 enrollees for the Diploma in Culinary Arts and Technology Management program and offering different specialty short courses. The school is now affiliated with different recognized institutions around the world including the National Restaurant’s Associational in America, Blue Mountain Hotel School in Australia and the International Association of Culinary Professionals.

Librarian (for active pooling)
(National Capital Reg - Quezon City)

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for providing information resources to students, faculty and employees through selection, acquisition and organization of library materials.
* Responsible for formulating policies and procedures to implement strategic plans and monitors compliance.
* Responsible for plans and implementation of objectives and goals of the future Information Resource Center.

Requirements:

* Graduate of B.S. Library and Information Science or B.S. Education major in Library Science
* At least one year (1) experience
* Passed licensure exam for Librarians

Library Assistant (for active pooling)
(National Capital Reg - Quezon City)

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for shelving, straightening and shelf reading of library materials.
* Responsible for providing photocopies of important documents, manuals, etc. for students, faculty and employees.
* Responsible for providing assistance to the librarian on the different library tasks

Requirements:

* Degree holder preferably Library Science
* One year related work experience
* Computer literate
* Ability to perfrom clerical tasks with limited supervision and assmes clerical responsibility for some segment of the library operations as determined by the immediate Superior
* Good organization skills
* Good customer service skills
