Dear Fellow Librarians, Information Specialists, Medical and Health Workforce, Library Staffs, and Colleagues;

The Medical and Health Librarians Association of the Philippines (MAHLAP) is holding a National Congress and Seminar-Workshop on the theme: “The Cutting Edge Information Professional: A Radical Sabbatical for Medical and Health Librarians” on February 27-28, 2007 at City Garden Suites, Ermita, Manila.

“The Radical Sabbatical is a technique that will assist us in a commitment to advance from our routine and devote time and energy to examine and access the attributes of our true nature and apply it to a larger understanding of our life purpose and destiny. Radical sabbatical is used to look at our priorities, to challenge life assumptions, and to reinvent ourselves.”

This seminar-workshop aims to:

1. Equip participants with the latest tools in the delivery of medical and health information;
2. Explore current resources available; and
3. Boost self-esteem and promote healthy work outlook.

The seminar fee for live-in participants is P3,500.00 inclusive of certificate, kits, breakfast, snacks, lunch & dinner;
