Warm Greetings from PAARL!

In celebration of the National Book Week, PAARL is pleased to invite you to a forum on “Resource Generation and Funding for Libraries” on November 29, 2006, 9:00am-12:00nn at The National Library Auditorium. Invited Speaker is Ms. Lourdes T. David of the Ateneo de Manila Rizal Library.

The forum is designed to help Librarians, Administrators, Archivists and other Information Professionals address the issues of funding and fund generation for libraries. This topic is geared towards finding additional resources in terms of collections, staff development and training for the effective delivery of library services. It will also present specific strategies in marketing the library to potential donors and benefactors to support future programs and efforts towards making improvements in user services and existing collection.

There will be a forum fee of P100.00 for members and P150.00 for non-members to cover snacks and certificates.

We look forward to your attendance in this rare opportunity of knowledge sharing from the experts. We will appreciate your sharing this invitation with other librarians and institutions.
