The Cavite Librarians Association, Inc. in coordination with Aklatang Emilio Aguinaldo invites you to a one-day “Forum on Library Advocacy: Making A Difference” and General Assembly to be held at Luis Aguado Viewing Room of Aklatang Emilio Aguinaldo, De La Salle University, Dasmariñas, Cavite on December 6, 2006.

The forum will concentrate on the librarian’s role in educating our communities about why libraries are essential in an information society. It also aims to develop the skills necessary to promote the services of the library within the school complex, the community, and beyond. The topics include: The Role of Libraries in the 21st Century; Library Marketing: Promoting Library Programs and Services; and Libraries Go Live: Libraries and ICT.

The registration fee is PhP 300.00 for members and PhP 500.00 for non-members to include snacks, meals, handouts and certificate of participation.
